The Zamboniar government is offering free plots of land to any intrepid soul willing to help settle this newly discovered country. We will soon begin accepting applications. Natural Resources
Zambonia is a large island to the south and west of Australia, at about 42 degrees S. It has a temperate climate, similar to the Upper Midwest in the U.S., and our scientists tell us that wheat is likely to be a staple crop for the settlers. We have had some early success with vegetables such as peas, squash, potatoes and carrots. Apples are also expected to grow well. The fish population has not yet been analyzed. There is a freshwater spring on the island that should provide sufficient water for our needs. Part of the land will be set aside for sheep and cattle grazing. The trees have also not yet been analyzed.
